How does God work so tirelessly in the world? Through LOVE that is how! And I have experienced an incredible amount of that Love in my life – even when I didn’t recognize it. Imagine searching for something so steadfastly through the blinders of hate – hating myself, hating life, hating circumstances – and in the middle of the search comes Love beaming through the cracks left by those crushing heavies bearing down on my soul. Now, looking back, I see the cracks as beautiful openings for the blessings of God’s love to permeate my life. I did recognize some of His love then but I kept choosing the heavies over the love. But today…
If I were describing my life in comparison to jewels, I’d have to say it is all God adorned! Blinged out for Jesus!
A couple of months ago, God revealed even more of Himself and part of His plan for this season of my life. He confirmed it through a beautiful lady whom I had never met. He never ceases to amaze me in the ways He shows love to me.
But as I continued to step into that plan, I felt a sense of heaviness amidst the amazing. I immediately began looking for the cracks so that His Love would come through. Only now in life, I don’t let it seep through. I let it crash through like a perfect wave along the ocean side rising up to a wall that can’t be tamed. And, oh, did it come crashing through!
But today!
Today, I’ve had tears of joy and a runny nose of thankfulness. I will be sharing the details in a few days of how those cracks became wide open valleys with light bouncing off every surface. God has answered some very big prayers for me and my family. The past weeks were very revealing … for a divine purpose He has brought us through. I CAN’T WAIT to share when the time is right. Many of you have been praying for me and with me. Thank you! Thank you ALL for praying as you did.
My beloved friends, look for the Light and Love coming through the cracks. Look beyond the cracks in your vessel and let the light shine. Today!
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:6-9
Live blessed,
Heather
